A happy ending

This time last, things weren't going too well for me. I'd failed some exams at my last school, and I also had a big argument whit my teacher Eva. Before I hated English! Everithing changed for me the day I went to Casa Nostra school. In Casa Nostra everithing was different. There was very good English teacher, her name is Alex Mach, I love her.

These days, I feel much happier. Now I work hard and I amb very motivated. I like English very much. In my opinion Casa Nostra is the best school in (Pla de l'estany).

Are you a tangled mess of BlackBerrys, emails, PDAs, iPhones, laptops, and cell phones? In my opinion all these electronic gadgets are like a drug, I can not live without them.

I think I'm involved in this drug, because at any moment I'm stuck in one of these electronic gadgets. Every day I log in facebook and msn, like all my friends.

Of course all of these devices lead us to a world very inappropriate for us. The bad part is that you will have consequences. So my parents forbid me some days to connect to facebook.

In conclusion, it is clear to me that I'd have to reduce hours of facebook.

My name is Xavier Alsius and I’m 16 years old and I’m a student in Casa Nostra Porqueres. I’m interested in sports and the animals. Some of my friends are into sports too. I spend most my time with my friend David. The thing which I like best is playing in the football field.

I don’t think that the world is a bad place, but I think it would be better, but one thing that annoys me is when people are unfriendly with me.

As far as the future is concerned, it sometimes worried me the world is ending soon.

by Gore Verbinski. It is an adventure film. The actors

are Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley.

I like this film becouse Johonny Depp is funny and eccentric.

He is my favorite actor.

RIO

In this 3D computer-animated film, Blu is a blue macawwho can't fly. He lives whith his owner and fest friend, Linda, in Minnesota, USA. Linda thinks Blu is the last blue macaw in the world. Bus then she hears of another macaw called Jewel who lives in Rio, Brazil. Blu and Linda go to Rio to meet Jewel and have lots of fun adventures!

Hot cross buns

Hot cross buns are sweet, spiced buns made with raisins and have a cross on top. They are traditionally eaten at Easter and are said to bring good things for the future. If you share a hot cross with another person you will be friend for next year, but you must say this rhyme: "Half for you and half for me, between us two shall goodwill be".

Xuni: Hey, Blanca, you look a bit down. What's the matter?
Blanca: Oh, I've just heard that my best friend's father has got a job in USA, and she's moving away
Xuni: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. It isn't the end of the world though
Blanca: I know, but I'm really going to miss her
Xuni: don't take it too badly- at least you can visit her on summer holidays. USA is really cool.
Blanca: That's true, I supose
Xuni: Look at it this way- if he's father hadn't got the job there maybe she will be disappointed with him...
Blanca: Yeah, maybe you're right
Xuni: Cheer up! Com on- let's go to a café or something
